 David Goel is Co-Founder and Managing General Partner of Matrix Capital Management, a $7 billion investment fund focused on technology and the life sciences. David is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day management. Prior to forming Matrix in 1999, he was a Member and Technology Research Analyst at Tiger Management. Previously, David was an Associate at General Atlantic Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Winsor School and serves as a Director of Adaptive Biotechnologies (ADPT), Bento Dental, and nference. He is a former Director of Zentalis Pharmaceuticals (ZNTL), Popular Bank, Univision Communications, the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), and a former Trustee of Phillips Exeter Academy. David attended Phillips Exeter Academy before graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. from Harvard University.
